By car
If you’re arriving by car, please contact us in advance. We will provide you with the latest information you need to reach us, including details for loading and unloading your luggage and finding parking for cars and motorcycles.
By bus
There are bus connections to Matera from Bari, Naples, Rome, and Milan, arriving at the bus stations of Villa Longo and Via Don Luigi Sturzo.
We also offer a paid Taxi or Ncc service to reach us. We invite you to contact us to book the service in advance.
From Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport
For those landing at Bari Airport, we offer the “Pugliairbus” Shuttle Service, which connects the airport to Matera Centrale.
A paid private transfer service is also available.
Recommended Parking, Shuttle Service, and Car Pickup
The Sassi districts are a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), which means that access for unauthorized vehicles is not permitted. It is important to park your car before arriving at the retreat to avoid entering the ZTL area.
Taxi service
Upon request, you can book a taxi for a round-trip transfer from Bari to Matera.
Free parking
Outside the ZTL area, there are some free parking spots (white lines) and paid parking spots (blue lines). You can leave your car on the streets just off Via Lucana: Via Vena, Via Duni, Via Chiancalata, Via Serrao, and Via Lanera.
Sant’Isidoro parking
Just a 15-minute walk from Conche Luxury Retreat, near Castello Tramontano, you’ll find the “Sant’Isidoro paid parking” facility. This fully covered parking lot is open 24/7 and offers convenient amenities including food and drink services and an EV charging station.
By parking here, you also have the option to use a paid Car Valet service that will bring your car directly to us.
